Look-y look-y what I found. Chris Lambton gushes about his fiance. If this video doesn’t show how in love he is I don’t know what does. Peyton is one lucky girl. #adorable
Another couple of Bachelor/Bachelorette rejects are making a go of it. Chris Lambton (34), a landscaper from Cape Cod is off the market. Cue sound of breaking hearts across America. I’ll admit my heart was one of those when I found out Peyton Wright (28) had taken this man off the market. Peyton and Chris were both contestants on different seasons of the Bachelor/Bachelorette. Portrayed as a tall family man with an adorable labrador retriever, Chris became a fan favorite when America learned of the heart-wrenching story of his mother’s passing. When his mother became ill with Multiple System Atrophy (MSA), a degenerative neurological disorder involving the deterioration of nerve cells in certain areas of the brain, Chris moved back home in 2007 to be near his family through that difficult time. After his run on Ali’s season of The Bachelorette, ABC tried to persuade Chris to become the next Bachelor; however, Chris declined and found love off camera with another Bachelor reject, the blonde Texan beauty, Peyton Wright. Chris proposed in June. Both are happy in love and making wedding plans. According to Chris’ blog (http://chrislambton.com) they are reaching out to fans for wedding plan suggestions. Their only stipulation: somewhere on a beach so they can get married at sunset.
Bachelorette star from Season 4, DeAnna Pappas, is getting married this weekend. I suppose we can add this to the list of Bachelor/ette successes. While she isn’t marrying the man she chose during her run of the Bachelorette, DeAnna did meet her soon-to-be-husband by being on the show.
Brief side note: On the show, DeAnna originally chose Jesse Csincsak, a pro snowboarder, but that was short-lived. Interestingly enough, Jesse married a Bachelor reject (from Season 13), Ashley Lueders. (I should clarify: Bachelor reject meaning appeared on the show as a contestant but was given the boot.)
How they met: Ok, back to DeAnna. DeAnna is marrying Stephen Stagliano, a high school teacher and twin brother to Michael Stagliano. Michael Stagliano appeared on The Bachelorette Season 5. DeAnna met his brother at a party for “The Bachelorette: The Men Tell All” special in 2009.
Apparentlythe ring is a 2.12 carat beauty from a Boston-area jeweler (woot woot) Kings Jewelers.
The Love Tweet: DeAnna tweeted a long, gushy love note to her fiance, which I have posted here for your viewing pleasure. Commence jealousy now: @DeAnnaPappas: What a journey I have been on to find my soul mate. Through it all, I have found a man that I can trust & depend on. A man that’s leads me. And a man that loves me unconditionally. Thank u all for following me throughout my love story. In 4 days, I will marry the best man that I have ever known. Thank you @StephenStag for making me the woman I always wanted 2 be. U are the best thing that has ever happened 2 me.♥
The Wedding Plans: According to online gossip sites citing Star (I would take this with a grain of salt) DeAnna will be wearing cowboy boots down the aisle along with a Disney-inspired princess dress. The wedding location? Georgia. (according to Stephen’s Twitter) Honeymoon spot? Belize
Again, the Bachelorette stars are picking quite a bit better than the Bachelors. How ‘bout we change those numbers this season Ben?
