San Diegans. Tall Dudes. Nehemiah As A Bartender!
Charity’s season of The Bachelorette has started! And we are rolling through the introductions. Charity’s older brother Nehemiah was a bartender in disguise and reported back to his sis. Charity had a great night meeting all of the tall men.
Who got kicked off: Chris, Joe, Khalid, Nic, Peter and Taylor were sent home night one.

We flew through these introductions.
First out of the Limos: Aaron B. from San Diego was first out of the limos and he flipped a coin. Heads he stayed and tails he left. Heads. It’s gotta be a double-sided coin.
Joey the tennis pro from Hawaii gave her a flower. He told her in Hawaii if you wore the flower behind your right ear you were available and if you wore it behind your left ear you were taken.
Frontrunner: Xavier the biochemist from North Carolina is a frontrunner. He studies science because his mom has an autoimmune disorder and in his spare time he knits and plays the ukelele.
Coolest Career: John Henry is a commercial diver.
Aaron S. brought a candle.
Tanner brought a towel and had Charity wave it around. The Tanner Towel.
Chris did a backflip and holds a jumping record.
Brayden, a traveling nurse, brought a tray and told Charity they needed to be up to date on their shots. Tequila shots that is. Surprise!
Caleb B. is a professional wrestler from Florida. He wore a cowboy hat.
Tall Dudes: A lot of tall dudes, but the tallest of tall I think goes to Dotun.
Sean brought a life-sized check and made it out to Charity for the tall order of his heart.
John brought a fortune cookie that read, “You will meet the man of your dreams tonight. His name is John.” John stays.
Let’s get this cocktail party started!
James, an attorney, brought a box that contained a note from his mom along with his parents’ cider and donuts from their apple orchard in Indiana. So sweeeet!
First Kiss: Xavier got the first kiss of the night. And Charity went in for it!
John got the second kiss of the night.
Spencer from Moorpark is a medical device salesman and a single dad. And let Charity know night one.
Aaron B. played the keyboard. And then flipped his little coin again. Heads he got a kiss and tails Charity had to play the keyboard. Well lookey there, heads again. Aaron B. got the third kiss of the night.
And the fourth kiss went to Brayden. San Diego representing tonight.
Kiss Count: 4
Charity’s brother Nehemiah revealed his identity to the men. But all in all the men did an alright job of showing genuine excitement Charity was the Bachelorette.
First Impression Rose: Brayden got the first impression rose. Charity made it seem like she was going to eliminate him based off of the intel from her brother and told Brayden to stay put. Brayden was all giddy and bragging to the men and bartenders about his kiss. Charity felt Brayden was there for her and excited not necessarily arrogant. A rose for him.
Coming up this season in the previews we see a ton of tears, a falling in love moment and Charity falling for more than one person. Who are your top three? Cheers to a new season of The Bachelorette!
Elisek1, Thanks for the updates. I’m missing out on all the action. I have Dish Network and they are still (it’s been over a year now) negotiating with ABC to bring the channel back. So frustrated. I’ve been watching the Bachelor/ette since the beginning of time. I’ve called Dish and gave input with no avail. If you have any strings please, please, please, get the negotiators to negotiate. Thanks so much for you help and Keep the recaps coming. Your my only tie to Bachelor/ette. Yvonne.
Yvonne! You are so sweet!! I get distracted with work. Thanks for the comment and encouragement!! I am so sorry they took it away and aren’t bringing it back. That stinks! I wish I had contacts to help. I think it’s also on YouTube TV? But I’ll keep my ears open!
