Beach Bums, BBQs, A Red Mustang and the Hollywood Sign.

Charity is off on her first dates! Charity picked up her first date in a red Mustang. Aaron B., the coin-tosser man, got the first date. The first group date was a beach day complete with dodgeball and speedos. Gabby and Rachel made an appearance for the second group date and Joey shared the longest Bachelor kiss with Charity.

Who got kicked off: Caleb A., John Henry, Josh, Kaleb K., and Spencer were sent home week 2.

First One-on-One: Aaron B. got the first one-on-one of the season and Charity picked him up in a classic red Mustang. Charity and Aaron B. both found out they were raised in a military family. They drove to the Hollywood sign because it was the 100th anniversary of the Hollywood sign. It was here Aaron B. admitted it was a double-sided coin and they shared a kiss by the “L”. Fun. (Definitely prohibited to be by the sign, but looks like they pulled some strings.) They also had dinner and a private concert from Lauren Alaina.

Group Date #1: Suns Out, Buns Out. That was what the date card read, and it did not disappoint. The first group date was a beach day and dodgeball game. Host Jesse interrupted their beach day in his blazer, jeans and nice dress shirt and announced it was now the 4th Annual Bachelorette Dodgebowl (previous seasons included Desiree, Becca and Claire) in speedos. The Green Team vs. the Pink Team. Jesse, Charity and Liz Habib a local sports reporter hosted. The MVP was Adrian and he got to go to the after-party. The Pink Team won best of 3 games. Xavier made many great catches. He annihilated the competition.

John got the group date rose.

Group Date #2: Gabby and Rachel hosted a group date for Charity. Gabby and Rachel interviewed the group date men on stage. A lot of questions about what they like about Charity, their best kisses, etc. And Charity chose the winning man – Joey. Joey and Charity were invited to break the Bachelor’s longest kiss of 3 minutes. Joey and Charity shared a kiss for 00:04:25. And Joey got a one-on-one date and the rest of the men went back to the mansion. Joey got a rose.

BBQ Pool Party Instead of A Cocktail Party

Cocktail party canceled. But we have a pool party in its stead! Woohoo. Caleb B. was bringing back the beach speedos. Dotun told Charity he was only a yes to come on the show when he heard it was Charity and he showed her his first resident card coming to the US. Adrian stirred the pot by calling out Brayden as being immature.

Adrian is a dad and not here to mess around.

Also, shoutout to John Henry who is an underwater welder when I called him a scuba diver. Underwater welder is way cooler.

Previews show Brayeden and Charity on my ideal date at Petco Park in San Diego. And a rose on Brayden but Charity saying she could take it back. The Bachelorette is on at 9|8c on ABC (not 8|7c). Cheers! (Also, Happy Fourth! Go America.)
