Melbourne, Australia! All the Australian Accents, Vegemite, More Shots and Photo Shoots

The crew is in Melbourne, Victoria Australia! In unprecedented Bachelorette history, Jenn and her men are not staying at the new Bachelorette mansion. They are flying to Australia to begin their journey to find love. Jenn said she was excited to be in Australia with all of her hot men.

Who got kicked off: Brian, Jahaan, and Marvin are headed home week 2.

First Group Date

The first group date was at Queen Victoria Market where they got to eat, drink and shop. The first treat was Vegemite followed by shots. A new continent will not stop shot o’clock! But these Australian shots came with kangaroo testicles inside.

While the group was shopping for rugs, Devin stole Jenn away from the group date to get gelato. The men were none too pleased with this decision. Aaron confronted Devin and thus began their feud.

Then the men went to Melbourne’s International Comedy Festival where they had to write their own jokes and perform for a crowded bar.

Grant got a kiss on the group date. Grant got the group date rose.

First One-on-One Date: Marcus

Marcus and Jenn went skydiving in Australia. Marcus said as a previous army ranger he was very much in his comfort zone and had jumped out of a lot of planes. He was so sweet to Jenn to reassure her and check in on her and make sure she was ok. At dinner, Jenn told her about his near-death experience in the army.

Group Date #2: Wildlife Photo Shoot

At the photo shoot we had Xavier the wildlife expert and Erich the photographer guiding the men for their animal photo shoot. The winner of the photo shoot got alone time with Jenn. Each man got an animal to hold while next to Jenn. Hakeem told Bachelorette producers in an interview he was praying to not get a spider. What’dya know. There was a spider named Goldie that Xavier brought out and Hakeem was chosen to hold.

The last photo at the photo shoot was supposed to be of Jenn with a huge snake. Jenn is afraid of snakes and Dylan volunteered to hold the snake for Jenn in the photo. A few other men also volunteered, but Dylan insisted and they let him get his time. Dylan got the extra time with Jenn too and went to dinner with her.

“Getting a lot of jealousy vibes on this side,” the photographer joked.

Eynesbury, Australia

At dinner, Dylan told Jenn his parents got married in 6 months and that his dad played the same song for his mom every time she stepped in the car throughout their 20+ year marriage. So sweet. He’s a California kid and a medical student who plays chess every night. Dylan got a kiss and a rose.

Cocktail Party

Werribee, Victoria Australia

The men argued a lot and Aaron and Devin continued their feud. Thomas N. got in an argument with Devin too, because Devin stole Jenn away at the cocktail party first and Devin already had a rose. Thomas N. was upset because Devin had said he would respect other people’s time. John had a good explanation, saying, “Devin explained his side, and I kinda respected where he was coming from. He just kinda does it like a jackass.” Devin, Aaron and Thomas N. all stayed.
