Hometowns! Lake Life, Chicago Food, Pascal’s Salon and Tree-Planting
It’s Hometowns this week and Joan traveled from Lake Tahoe, Nevada to Chicago, Illinois, to Wichita, Kansas to meet the families. All of the families – including siblings, parents, children and grandchildren loved Joan.
Who got kicked off: Jordan was sent home this week.
Guy – Lake Tahoe, Nevada
Joan met Guy in Lake Tahoe, Nevada. Joan got to meet all of Guy’s family who had plenty of other “G” names – Gayle, Gerry, Greg, Gwen, Greer – in the family. Guy’s grandson is just the cutest. Joan fit right in and got along great. Guy talked with his sisters outside with white wine and they said how much they liked Joan.
Pascal – Chicago, Illinois
Pascal greeted Joan with coffee. First stop – Pascal’s salon! Joan got to meet all of the people that work at Pascal’s two-story salon and get pampered that day with a hand massage and champagne. After the salon, Pascal drove Joan to meet his family in a fancy car. Joan met Pascal’s friends and kids and grandkid. Pascal has a son and two daughters and a grandson.
Jordan – Chicago, Illinois
Jordan took Joan to all the good food spots – they got deep-dish pizza at Lou Malnati’s Pizzeria and a 6-layer rainbow cake (no idea where they got it from but I googled a couple places) and nips. Joan met Jordan’s two daughters and one of his daughter’s partner, along with Jordan’s three brothers.
Chock – Wichita, Kansas
Joan showed up in a navy blue dress that matched Chock’s navy blue shirt and they shared a moment chatting on a bench. Joan met a whole lot of Chock’s family at an outdoor BBQ. Chock had a Celebration of Life with an oak tree-planting ceremony for his mom who passed away while Chock was on the show. All of the family members, including Chock and his daughter got to say a few words about Chock’s mom. It was really sweet. I think it touched Joan too. Joan got to meet Chock’s dad Jay and the dad of the woman he had been married to before but passed away from cancer. Joan met Chock’s son and daughter named Tyler and Taylor. Joan was gifted bejeweled red high heels in honor of Kansas. Chock told her he’s falling for her.
