NOLA! Carriage Rides, Crescent City Classic, Street Cars, and Falling in Love
I feel like we are flying toward Hometowns! Anyone else? I feel like we’re usually in week 8 when Hometowns hit and it’s only week 5. Trying to get to that Golden Bachelor. The crew traveled to New Orleans for an adventure. Joey got a horse-drawn carriage ride for the first one-on-one date in NOLA. Tanner and Sean had a two-on-one date. Neither left with a rose. But got invited to the group date. Dotun got a one-on-one date, his second one-on-one of the season, not to mention two weeks in a row. They did a run! Dotun also told Charity he was falling in love with her. Sean ALSO told Charity he was “in the process” of falling in love. Charity told Sean she couldn’t get there with him after he went to Charity’s room to get validation. Aaron B., Dotun, Joey and Xavier are our Hometowners with Charity!
Who got kicked off: Sean went home after talking to Charity at her hotel. And Tanner went home before a rose ceremony.

One-on-One Date: Joey got the one-on-one date in NOLA. They stole away in a carriage ride from the other men in NOLA. Charity looked so happy, very touchy feely. She danced with Joey in the street to a brass band. And had a lovely dinner where Joey said he was happy to bring her home to his family. Joey got a rose and is going to hometowns!
Two-on-One Date: The dreaded two-on-one date. Sean and Tanner were the unlucky winners of the two-on-one. The went on a Gator tour! So fun. The tour guide said Charity was definitely feeling one guy over the other. The trio had a clam bake on the shore. At dinner, Tanner admitted his walls were up from past hurt. Charity was having a rash she was so stressed out. She decided not to hand out a rose.
Going Rogue! Don’t do it! Sean did the ultimate-guarantee-your-ticket-home move by going to see Charity after-hours looking for validation. If you gotta go looking, it probably means they don’t know. And Sean is out. Sean told Charity he was “in the process of falling in love” with her. That’s a new one – “in the process.” Cool, cool. Charity said she didn’t think she could get there. And then asked if she could walk him out. Yikes. It’s okay, he’s probs ready for Bachelor in Paradise.
One-on-One Date: Dotun got the most active date. He did the Crescent City Classic with Charity. Is it a marathon, a half marathon, a 10k? The world may never know. It was referred to by all of the above the whole episode. Aaron B., although seemed to know it because he lived in NOLA for 7 years and immediately was like “The Crescent City Classic” when Dotun relayed his date. Aaron B. was pretty butt hurt he didn’t get a one-on-one date in NOLA. Along the route, they came across an older gentleman who offered them pints of beer and revealed he had been married for 58 years. Charity asked what was his secret and the cute old man said, “Two words. ‘Yes, Dear.'” Adorable. Yes, dear. Also, Charity is featured on the Crescent City Classic’s header video. Fun! Dotun’s there too. Just tall.

Barstool Trent also made an appearance this week. He was getting ready to take the luggage away.
Next week is also at 8|7c. So set your reminders and stock those fridges, it’s about to go down. Cheers!
