The Bachelors and Bachelorettes Are in Costa Rica! Iguanas, A Swim-Up Bar, A Ping Pong Table. And Air Conditioning!

The Bachelors / Bachelorettes have arrived in Costa Rica! And they have hotel rooms with air conditioning, a swim-up bar, iguanas, games galore, including ping pong! Host Jesse is back, along with bartender Wells. And for a new surprise, Hannah Brown is here as the Paradise Relations specialist, helping the Bachelors / Bachelorettes find love. The first group has arrived on the beach. The ladies have the roses this week.

Going Home: Ricky, Sam, Hakeem, and Kyle are going home night one.

Date Card #1 ish: Justin got the first date card. It was for a beach dinner and night swim. He asked Lexi on the date, but it got cancelled because of a thunderstorm. The next day, Justin recruited the help of Hannah Brown to plan a date to make up for the rain out. Justin and Lexi tried their date again on a sunny day on Day 3 in Paradise. They went on a pool date and shared a kiss in the pool. Justin had dated Susie (from Clayton’s season) in Los Angeles. Justin and Susie had been friends for a year and dated for a year. Lexi wanted to make sure he was healed from that.

Date Card #2: Dale (from Claire’s season) rode in on a yacht and got a date card. Dale took Kat on the date on a catamaran. They popped a bottle of champagne. Kat tried not to vomit with the waves rolling them about.

Date Card #3: Sam (from Jen’s season) came in on a 1968 Harley on the beach. Sam took Jess on a date. Their date was a “purification and rebirth ritual.” They kissed. And put Jess smack dab in the middle of an early love triangle because Jess had hit it off with Spencer early on.

First Kiss: Spencer and Jess had a kiss on the beach.

Bailey and Jeremy shared a smooch on the shoreline. Jeremy was pursuing Bailey hard and making out with her. But then, sitting and chatting on the couches with Hannah Brown and Lexi, he admitted it’s only been 3 days, and he doesn’t want to close off his options. Hannah Brown rolled her eyes a bit.

Kat and Dale kissed outside of their date on the daybeds.

Alexe and Ricky shared a kiss by the pool. Alexe was talking to both Ricky and Jonathan.

Kyle used the word cogitating. That’s all.

Brian kissed Zoe on the beach. Brian said he wants to have athlete babies and is zeroed in on Zoe. Zoe also said she wants to have athlete babies.

Next Week: Host Jesse warns the couples after the rose ceremony that everything is about to change. This season’s preview shows someone who looks like Susie (Justin’s ex) on jet skis with Jeremy. Alli Jo and Parisa arrive on the beach. There’s a kissing game preview. And the Golden Bachelors / Bachelorettes arrive.
