Bachelor Winter Games Breakups and Couples Updates

The honeymoon stage of The Bachelor Winter Games has thawed and the break up train is rolling through.

Clare and Benoit

Benoit, our Canadian contestant, proposed to Clare, our always up for a Bachelor challenge lady, at the finale of The Bachelor Winter Games. Well, we all know how that worked out. They are officially donezo as evidenced by their somewhat adorable Instagram post.

We understand A lot of you have been asking about our relationship since the show, and we wanted to thank you all for the love and respect as we navigated it in real life off camera. We do understand however, having a public engagement on TV kind of changes that. It's with a heavy heart that we have mutually decided to end our relationship. We think the world of eachother, and we were both hoping we could make this work. I'm sorry that this may not be what you want to hear, but it's our truth. Just know there are no negative feelings here, we are simply two people who believed in love, and were open enough to give it a chance. We still care for each other very deeply (That is why no hate or disrespectful comments will be tolerated about the other.) Please respect our privacy as well, as with the end of any relationship, it is never easy. Thank you for your understanding and love while we have shared our vulnerability with the world. ❤️Clare & Benoît

Lesley and Dean

Dean posted a cryptic message on his Instagram about love being hard and a day later Lesley confirmed they were broken up. That’s 0 for 3 on the Bachelor ladies front for darling Dean. Might be time to check out another dating pool, DeanieBabies. Dean gave Lesley a key to his apartment at the After The Bachelor Winter Games episode. This was to throw off the very real proposal Benoit had planned for Clare (pre-breakup). Lesley is a clever little travel blogger for those not in the know. She cited, out with the winter and in with the Spring cleaning.

It’s a bit strange to feel the need to post about this, but I don’t think I can honestly resume my normal programming (✈️🏖🏕) without giving you an explanation – and maybe that’s the wrong word, but I just wanted to thank y’all for the love and respect you’ve shown me over the past few days. I spent 5 years away from Bachelor Nation as I lived abroad and traveled for work. I came back to Winter Games because I’ve seen this franchise work miracles before. Through The Bachelor and my journey around the world, I have made deep connections, true meaningful intimate relationships with many walks of life. I know it’s imperative to find someone who chooses us and acknowledges our many layers, who can be open and vulnerable, and most importantly, who is ready. To meet someone and be met. To be chosen and to choose. To love and to be loved. This is everything. All we need is that same energy reciprocated, and despite how open and loving you attempt to be, people can only meet you as deeply as they’ve met themselves. Don’t be afraid to be the one that loved the most and give everything you had, because you’ve got to find people who love like you do and who are ready. Out with the old, in with the ᴛʀᴜᴇ. It was a long winter, and I’m excited for a new season🌱🌸🌻🌷Let the spring cleaning commence. I’m ready.

Lauren and Arie are still globe trotting and doing annoyingly well. Lauren enjoys posting Instagram stories with filters. In case you were interested. Happy for them.
