Clarity for Charity on Aaron B., Fiji with the Family, and a Proposal! Plus, a trip to Greece.

Congrats to the happy couple, Charity and Dotun! And they got a trip to Greece from host Jesse on After the Final Rose.

Charity had to stand on a box. to get in the same frame as Dotun. Adorable.

The Ring! and the Proposal! Neil Lane was in the audience (pic 5 inlay) and nodded approval of his sponsored giant rock Dotun got to propose to Charity with.

Who got kicked off: Aaron B. was sent home to San Diego…again. And Joey was sent home out of the final two.

Aaron B. in the Final Three

We started the finale with a rose ceremony, where Aaron B. replaced Xavier and then was promptly sent home. Aaron B. told Charity upon their break-up, “I’ll always be in your corner.” Charity responded with, “And I’ll always be in yours.”

Aaron B. is on his way to Bachelor in Paradise. So all is well.

Dotun and Joey Meet the Family in Fiji

Charity’s mom, dad and sister were in Fiji and met with both Joey and Dotun and had a preference for Joey. Joey was up first and stole her family’s hearts.

Charity’s Final Dates

Joey gave Charity the poem they got in New Orleans from a street poet and put it in a frame. Sweet.

Dotun gave her his resident alien card, and a s’more like on one of their earlier dates where he said he fell for her. And some sand. And a locket with their baby faces from childhood. A whole treasure chest of trinkets. He told Charity, “You are my treasure.” Sweet.

I’m so glad we’re bringing back the gifts portion of Bachelor/ette. #longlivethescrapbook

After the Final Rose

The Live Studio Audience had way too many Bachelor/ette previous people, like Pilot Pete’s parents? Why on earth are they there? The show panned waaay too much to them. Also in attendance were Gabby and her new beau, Grocery Store Joe and Serena, Rachel (of Gabby and Rachel’s season), Kat and Brooklyn, and Brayden from Charity’s season. It was odd.

They also announced that someone in the studio audience was going to be picked to go on the next season of The Bachelor. Jesse Palmer interviewed people. Not gonna lie but the two ladies in the live studio audience gave it up real quick on who the next Bachelor was going to be – the one from Hawaii, where Joey lives and the other from Joey’s hometown. Mm’kay.

Upcoming Bachelor Franchise Things

The new Bachelor is Joey!

And Leah from Hawaii is the lucky studio audience winner and joining Joey’s season of The Bachelor. She also was given a card. No, not a date card. A fooler date card. She was instructed to open it night one at the mansion. Lame. A date card would have been way cooler. Her nails are cool.

The Golden Bachelor (Premieres Thursday nights at 8|7c starting Sept. 28)

Gerry Turner, 71 years young, is the first Golden Bachelor.

Bachelor in Paradise ALSO Premieres on Thursdays starting September 28, but at 9|8c

Kat Izzo and Brooklyn Willie from seasons passed are on it. Rachel from Gabby and Rachel’s season of The Bachelorette is on it. Hannah Brown, Katie Thurston and Charity Lawson all make an appearance. Brayden from Charity’s season is on it. Aaron B. from Charity’s season. More ladies from Zach Shallcross’ season of The Bachelor are on it, including Jess Girod, Cat Wong and Kylee Russell. And Blake Moynes, Katie Thurston’s (see above, Katie is also appearing – but is also on FBoy Island, according to Variety, so who knows. FBoy Island Season 3 premieres, Thursday, Oct. 12th 8-10pm ET/PT with back-to-back episodes on the CW, according to the CW Press Site.) ex-fiancé.

In the preview, someone had trouble pooping so they called in a medic.

And someone is getting married on the beach.

Dancing with the Stars

And, Charity, in true Bachelorette fashion, is going to be on Dancing with the Stars going after that Mirror Ball trophy.

The Golden Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise on ABC both premiere Thursday, September 28th, 8|7c and 9|8c, so don’t put that summer rosé-all-day away quite yet. Plus, FBoy Island Season 3 with prior Bachelorette Katie Thurston, will be on the CW on Thursdays at 8pm ET/PT starting Oct. 12th. Now that’s what I call cross-promotion. Fall is looking promising.
