Jessie Palmer Getting Free Tennis Lessons, Cowboy Festivals, Bachelor Bootcamp, Paintball Fights, Michael Bolton and Wedding Day Games

The opening shot was Joey giving Jessie Palmer, 44, tennis lessons and Jesse was looking good! Jesse credited Joey with being a great communicator and that helping him on his Bachelor journey.

Who got kicked off: Lauren self-eliminated. Erika, Marlena and Taylor were sent home at the rose ceremony.

First Group Date: Rachel, Taylor, Kelsey T., Lexi, Evalin, Erika, Maria, Lauren, Jess

Date Card Read: Here comes the bride.

The ladies got to pick out wedding dresses to play some not-so-friendly wedding games. The ladies traveled in style in limos to the Hummingbird Nest, which is an adorable wedding venue. The ladies had a series of challenges, including musical chairs. Evalin lept over the table during musical chairs to get the chair next to Joey. Lauren was already there. Rachel was chosen for the first dance at the reception. AND she got to dance to the sweet, sweet tunes of Michael Bolton. The best part of the date was Michael Bolton appearing to sing for the first dance. Michael Bolton! (Also, PSA Michael Bolton is touring in 2024 so go get those tickets and you can thank me later.) Lauren aka older sis had a hard time on the date because her dad had passed away 6 months ago. At the cocktail party later that night, Jess got the rose on the group date after opening up about her last relationship.

One-on-One Date: Daisy our Hallmark, Christmas Tree Farm Owner’s Daughter with a Cochlear implant

Date Card Read: I want a love that hits all the right notes.

Daisy got a helicopter ride to the Beachlife Ranch country music festival with All Access Passes. It is all of the things I love. Cowboy hats, beer and swag. Daisy wore a cute pink dress that matched the decor and they had such a fun, flirty day! She said she was transitioning out of software sales into her nonprofit for kids. They watched Bahamas from the stage as they slow-danced. It was adorable. At dinner, Daisy told Joey about how she had had Lyme disease at a young age and no one could figure out what was wrong. She lost her hearing and went to Germany for treatment. Good news is the Lyme disease has cleared up, but Daisy had to get a cochlear implant to hear. And started a non-profit to help kids gain more confidence. It seems to be working great. Daisy got the rose on the date.

Group Date #2: The rest of the ladies except Lea and Sydney

Joey flipped tires shirtless to greet the ladies as they jogged in in their workout attire. Jenn said he could keep his shirt off, but gentleman that he is and to everyone’s dismay, Joey clothed up. Joey said he likes to exercise so this is a great date. Jubilee (Season 20) and Demi (Season 23) from seasons past rolled in army-esque gear and announced they would be hosting a Bachelor Bootcamp, which included tire flipping and capture the flag, but a Capture Joey’s Heart rendition. The Blue Team (Madina, Starr, Edwina, Kelsey A., and Jenn) vs the Pink Team (Katelyn, Allison, Marlena, Chrissa, Autumn). Can I just say how obsessed I am with their jumpsuits. Amazing. They had to capture a fluffy heart just like capture the flag but people tagged you in paint. Blue Team won, but they found out only one of them was going to get time with Joey. Lame. Edwina was chosen. She got the time and the group rose.

Madina got upset at being 31, the oldest person on Bachelor. Maria talked loudly about this and Sydney heard and Madina is her girl so Sydney and Maria got in an argument. I would also like to point out we got a few 31-year-olds on here. Sam, Kelsey T. and Madina.

Cocktail Party

Joey and Lexi had a great time at the cocktail party. Lexi told Joey she got her masters in fine arts and played it off that she was in galleries and he had to be extraordinarily still as she finished her painting. She revealed an elementary watercolor artwork with a goldfish dolphin springing from the water. They laughed about it.

Evalin gave Joey an embroidered and personalized jean jacket. It had tennis on there. It had Bachelor on there. It had Hawaii on there. It was sweet. Aaand she’s crying again.

Lauren self-eliminated. She chose to go home. But not before ordering a red velvet cake to share with him. I think it was to make up for the wedding group date earlier when she felt off. It ended up not being red velvet. And she chose to go home despite talking to Joey.

Next week, previews show a costumed Bachelor Open tennis extravaganza, additional drama with Sydney and Maria, surfing and beach makeout sessions.

Fun Things for You:

Joey and his sister who could be a Bachelor star post cute little things on their Instagrams. Enjoy!
